CDP is an international non-profit charity that encourages companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. CDP’s annual A List names the world’s top businesses for environmental performance, based on their disclosures.
We have submitted responses to the CDP Climate list since 2010 and to its water questionnaire since 2012. In 2022, we have been included on the CDP A List for climate change and water security, for the seventh consecutive year.
CCEP is one of a small number of companies that was awarded a double ‘A’ score for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on both climate change and water security, out of more than 10,000 businesses that were reviewed. This reflects our continued progress against the commitments in our This is Forward, CCEP’s sustainability action plan, which has recently been extended to include our markets in Australia, the Pacific and Indonesia. CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognised as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency.
- Paul Simpson, CEO of CDP
CCEP has achieved the highest score, an A rating, on CDP’s Supplier Engagement Rating (SER), which measures how effectively companies engage with their suppliers on climate change. Companies with the best ratings are recognised as Supplier Engagement Leaders, of which CCEP is one of the top 8% of companies who disclosed to CDP.
