Embracing Equity: further together for an inclusive workplace at CCEP
Today is International Women’s Day (IWD) – a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
As a woman in a senior leadership position at a business employing over 33,000 people, I have a strong belief in valuing diversity, and I feel a strong personal responsibility to make this year’s IWD theme, #EmbracingEquity, a milestone within CCEP.
Inclusion, diversity and equity is at the heart of our Everyone’s Welcome philosophy. Everyone – regardless of gender, culture, heritage, ability, sexual orientation and age – is always welcome, valued, can grow and add value.
To focus our efforts, we have clear gender diversity commitments as part of our sustainability action plan This Is Forward
To support these commitments, we have a strong sponsorship from our CEO and our Executive Leadership Team. The ELT have bespoke targets in their individual objectives to improve female representation. We were proud of our inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI) for the third year running with continuous improvement on many areas (pay equity, leadership support, inclusion, learnings…).
We are supporting our female employees through Women in Leadership, a series of training and mentoring programmes.
We created Inclusive Recruitment Principles and launched an external Candidate Charter, keeping inclusion at the heart of our recruitment processes.
Throughout this month, we will celebrate IWD across our offices and sites. It’s an opportunity for all of us to speak up on gender balance. Thanks for your ambition and commitment to make CCEP an even stronger inclusive workplace!
