Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has been recognised for its leadership in supplier engagement on climate change, with a top rating on CDP’s Supplier Engagement Leaderboard for the fifth year running.

We received the highest score, an A rating, on CDP’s Supplier Engagement Rating (SER), which evaluates corporate supply chain engagement on climate issues. Companies with the highest ratings are recognised as Supplier Engagement Leaders, of which we are amongst 36% of companies that reached Leadership Level in the Food & Beverage processing sector.

This is further recognition of our leadership in sustainability from CDP, having secured a place on CDP’s ‘A List’ for Climate and Water at the end of 2022, for the seventh year running.

At CCEP, supplier partnerships are key to our ambition to reach net zero by 2040 and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 (vs. 2019). Over 90% of our emissions are attributed to our supply chain and we are working closely with our suppliers to help them develop their own actionable, SBTi approved carbon reduction plans, and transition to 100% renewable electricity.

Ralf Peters, Vice President Procurement, CCEP said: “Our engagement with our suppliers on sustainability has never been more important. We must work together to drive progress on carbon reduction, by scaling our efforts and finding new ways to take action on supply chain emissions. From disclosure to action, this recognition from CDP demonstrates the impact we can have, and we will continue to accelerate our work to decarbonise our entire value chain.”
