Coca-Cola Europacific Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) is taking concrete steps to promote inclusion by providing waste management training to 100 inmates and 40 officers at the Class IIA Surabaya Women's Detention Center by inviting female employees to be involved as volunteers. The inclusion and empowerment of women are the main focus of this activity, which is to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8.

Furthermore, this training also empowers women by providing new skills in managing the environment sustainably. Participants will be provided with knowledge about waste management, recycling, and maintaining a clean environment. This emphasizes the critical role of women in promoting environmentally friendly practices and maintaining ecosystem sustainability.

To support the implementation of the skills acquired, CCEP Indonesia handed over 3 units of trash cans, 2 units of bio pore drills, 10 units of bio pore pipes, 2 sets of computer PCs, and 1 compost management module. These tools allow participants to directly practice waste management and recycling and raise awareness about the importance of keeping the environment clean.

Through this activity, CCEP Indonesia provides participants with new knowledge and skills. It promotes inclusion, women's empowerment, and concern for the environment. By involving inmates and officers at the Women's Detention Center, they can actively participate in efforts to preserve the environment and improve their quality of life and the surrounding community.
