CCEP Indonesia Commemorated National Waste Awareness Day 2024 in Jakarta

In commemoration of National Waste Awareness Day, which falls on February 21, 2024, as a form of action to overlook for the environment, CCEP Indonesia collaborates with the academic community of Budi Luhur University, Budi Luhur Waste Bank, students, and the Petukangan area community holding a joint commemoration of National Waste Awareness Day.

This event was located in the Budi Luhur University area, Ciledug, Jakarta. It was attended by 250 people with the theme "Overcoming Waste Without Waste, By Sorting Waste From Home". A series of activities such as Clean Up, weighing, and also several educational interaction activities on types of waste and their use were provided as a form of action to care for the environment. In this action, a total of 580 kg of PET, paper/cardboard, and plastic waste was collected, which had been sorted according to type.
 

The Chancellor of Budi Luhur University, Prof. Agus Setya Budi and Nurlida Fatmikasari, PACS Regional Manager Central Indonesia, provided motivation and also invited students and the community to start maintaining cleanliness and being wise about waste from an early age to protect the environment. This event was also attended by several volunteers from CCEP Indonesia from various departments.
