CCEP Indonesia Supports Local MSMEs and Women Entrepreneurs Through Legal and Marketing Training

As a well-known beverage company, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) is committed to contributing positively to its operational areas. We also synergise with the Sumedang Regency Government to support economic growth in the MSME sector.

To develop MSMEs in Sumedang Regency, CCEP Indonesia initiated training with the theme "Increasing the Legality of Leading MSMEs in Sumedang Regency through Food Safety Training (PKP)". We collaborate with the Superior Hospitality and Communication Forum (FSKU) by involving local women entrepreneurs who already have businesses in some Sumedang Regency. The training was held at the Sumedang Regency Government office complex on 25 January 2023.

Hilman Taufik Wijaya Somantri, as a representative from the Sumedang Regency government, expressed his appreciation to CCEP Indonesia for the company's support for the Sumedang Regency Government program in increasing the capacity of MSME actors through PKP training. This training aimed to improve Sumedang MSME products to have legality, be more hygienic, healthy and have good quality products so that they can expand their network of packaged food products towards PIRT certification. He said this training is the main hope for all MSMEs in Indonesia.

Fifty participants from 26 sub-districts in Sumedang Regency received technical assistance and training from 5 resource persons from the Health Office and the Sumedang Regency Licensing Service. Intensively these MSMEs receive a specialised guidance curriculum from the Sumedang District Health Office and Licensing Service (DPMPTSP).

Denny Wahyudi, Corporate Affairs Manager CCEP Indonesia, said the MSME training was a form of CCEP Indonesia's support for the Sumedang Regency Government to grow the regional economic sector. For companies, it was part of a program to increase the entrepreneurial capacity of women who also have an essential role in the economic and social order of the people of Sumedang Regency.
