Leading beverage company, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) represented by the Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Director, Lucia Karina, received the Indonesia CSR & TJSL Awards 2022 (ICA 2022) for the FMCG industry category organized by The Iconomics at the JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta, last June 10, 2022.

In the awards ceremony which has entered its 4th year, several awards were given to companies in Indonesia which were considered to have contributed positively to the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) during the pandemic. In determining the companies to be appreciated at the event, The Iconomics selected CCEP Indonesia as the recipient of the 2022 CSR & TJSL Awards through several data search methods, including using activities that have a positive impact on the environment, social, economy, health, climate and education published by media or sustainability reports related to company’s CSR activities.

“This is a proud moment for us, because as we know, the past two years have been tough and full of challenges for all of us. Nevertheless, CCEP Indonesia will continue its commitment being a responsible business by prioritizing the health and safety of employees, as well as contributing to the community and the environment, while ensuring the sustainability of the company," explained Lucia while receiving the award. "Of course, our achievements cannot be separated from the collaboration of all parties with a similar vision, and that is together with communities and Indonesia."

The award is also a reflection of CCEP's contribution in achieving the 'This is Forward' strategy, Coca-Cola Europacific Partner’s group sustainability action plan and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as: investment in renewable energy, solar panel rooftop installation at Bekasi 1 factory as part of its commitment to reduce carbon footprint; applying the latest bottling technology through the Affordable Small Sparkling Package (ASSP) which combines various materials to reduce plastic use by up to 40%, in line with its mission to set up a plastic bottle recycling facility; implementing post-consumer packaging management through Bali Beach Clean Up activities, city clean-up program and trash can donation, Coca-Cola Forest Fun Learning, Green School program, and waste bank management.

CCEP Indonesia also strives to continue to protect employees’ welfare and promote human rights through the provision of jobs, providing adequate health and social services, building a diverse and inclusive workspace, and contributing to society during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The support provided by CCEP Indonesia during the pandemic, includes implementing a vaccination program for employees, families and external communities, distributing product donations to health workers in the frontline, and implementing a training program to maintain safety and hygiene during the new normal for small businesses to increase their enthusiasm for re-running activities in the store.
