CCEP Indonesia Provides Scholarship Assistance for Students in North Sumatra's Local Communities

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) handed over Achievement Scholarship Assistance to 12 (twelve) elementary, middle, high school and university students from various schools and campuses in Medan City. The handover event was held at the Hall of the Head Office, Medan Labuhan District and attended by the Head of the Village, local government officials, parents of scholarship awardees and representatives from CCEP Indonesia.

In his remarks, the Village Head, Gandi Gusri, expressed his gratitude to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia, who cared about and provided scholarship assistance to the 12 students from his area adjacent to the CCEP Indonesia Factory.

"I hope this scholarship is right on target, namely for students in this area whom CCEP Indonesia assists. Thank you for the support from CCEP Indonesia, and we hope the scholarship can benefit the recipients," said Gandi.

"This scholarship assistance is an annual program from the company which is expected to be fully utilised for study purposes. They can use them for book purchases, uniforms or other costs like tuition fees to help them complete their studies according to the target, "explained Iwan Sulistyantoro, Plant Operation Manager CCEP Indonesia - Medan Plant. Iwan also said that the Scholarship Assistance program has the aim of helping the education of the local community to build a better future for them.

The Chairperson of Karang Taruna, Medan Labuhan District, Eka Susilawati, said, "I hope that in the future, CCEP Indonesia will continue to care for the surrounding residents, and we pray that the company will always be successful. Karang Taruna, Medan Labuhan District, will always support the social programs that CCEP Indonesia carries out," he said.

Ardin, a parent of one of the awardees, thanks CCEP Indonesia for the scholarship. "In the future, we hope this program can continue on an ongoing basis," he explained.
