As a form of the company's commitment and support in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia, especially in the city of Medan, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia) collaborated with KODIM 0201/Medan by holding a vaccination event for the community. This event was held at the Pembangunan Panca Budi University (UNPAB), Medan.

This vaccination activity was attended by the Commander of KODIM 0201/Medan officials, representatives of CCEP Indonesia, UNPAB representatives and all community vaccination participants.

A total of 1,086 people received doses of 1 and 2 vaccinations in this activity, which consisted of UNPAB students, junior/high school students from the Prof. Dr. H. Kadirun Yahya Foundation and the public. The type of vaccine used is Sinovac Vaccine and is provided by KODIM 0201/Medan and its vaccinators.

Corporate Affairs Executive CCEP Indonesia, Angga Harahap, explained that the goal is to assist the government in accelerating vaccination for the community. “We also want to support the preparation of Face-to-face Learning (PTM) for campuses and schools as well as the company's commitment to handling COVID-19, our employees, and their families. In addition, we have made other contributions in handling COVID-19 and will continue to strive to increase other contributions,“ said Angga.

Chancellor 2 of UNPAB, Hasrul Azwar Hasibuan, said this vaccination activity was carried out in order to prepare for face-to-face classes. Therefore, it is recommended and required for all students to take the first and second doses of vaccination. “We have held several vaccination activities like this. This time we are working with CCEP Indonesia targeting students, university students, and the public,” he said.

Separately, the Commander of Kodim (Dandim) 0201/Medan, Hindratno Devianto was also seen attending the mass vaccination event. When visited, Hindratno said he was happy and thanked CCEP Indonesia and also UNPAB. “We are very grateful for helping us to achieve the vaccination target for the people of Medan City,” he said.

Hindratno also hopes that all people in Medan City will be vaccinated before the turn of the year. “We will continue to pursue the vaccination target to be 100 percent and of course we will always support government policies in handling COVID-19,” he explained.
