CCEP Indonesia provides assistance to empower micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) at German Beach, Kuta, Bali at German Beach, Kuta, Bali. Armytanti Hanum Kasmito, Regional Corporate Affairs Manager of CCEP Indonesia, said that this program is a program that aims to provide training and support to the business community on the German coast.
"The program, which has started since January 2023 until now, is carried out so that they can increase the capabilities and quality of products and services and increase market access to improve services," Armytanti said in an official statement quoted on Friday, 7 April 2023.
As a parameter, the beach must have standards regarding facilities and services. One of the efforts made by CCEP Indonesia is through the Human Resources (HR) capacity development program approach. This program is implemented through several activities, such as skills training, business management training, and access to the market, to support access to capital.
"CCEP Indonesia also helps MSME players to increase the visibility of their products through marketing and promotion," he added.
Apart from providing direct support to MSME actors, this program also seeks to increase public awareness of the importance of supporting local businesses and protecting the environment.
This program is part of the company's commitment to supporting economic development and community welfare in areas where Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia operates.
Collaborating with academics from Undiknas University Denpasar and the BEDO Foundation, which focuses on developing the MSME community, the MSME community assistance program by CCEP Indonesia on the German coast has been running since early 2023 until now, with assistance to more than 40 MSME actors around German Beach.
We are starting from the first stage by assessing participants consisting of food and beverage businesses, handicrafts, fashion, services, and others, up to the main activities in the form of providing basic entrepreneurship training materials, aspects of capital and marketing, solutions to financial problems, financial reporting management, to issues of business and product legality, brands and copyrights.
Direct assistance to every business actor at their respective locations is also carried out to provide tangible support in practice from the training material that MSMEs have obtained.
This direct assistance stage is the monitoring stage of implementing various training materials, one regarding financial management. MSMEs get clarity through direct practice in calculating their business profit and loss.
"By supporting MSME actors, it is hoped that this program can help improve the sustainable quality of life for the MSME community on the German Beach and the people of Bali in general and also help strengthen the regional economy in the tourism sector," he said.
