Soneel Raj
Head of Brewing & Distilling
Soneel Raj is a very passionate brewer. He started with Paradise back in 2015 as a Brewing Supervisor, and in 2017 started relieving in the role of Brewing Team Leader. He was confirmed as Head Brewer in 2019.
Soneel started his brewing career at Island Brewing Company (original brewers of Vonu) and has over 10 years of brewing experience. He also worked at Douglas Pharmaceuticals and Fiji Sugar Corporation as a Quality Chemist before joining us.
Soneel is originally from Nadi. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, a Post Grad Diploma in Chemistry, and a master’s in business administration From USP. He has a General Certificate in Brewing and Packaging from the institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) and is currently working towards completing his Diploma in Brewing from IBD.
