YWCA recognised our commitment and alignment with their equal pay credentials by awarding us with the YWCA Compact award (2017).
We have an in-house committee (CODE) designed to ensure that our policies and processes allow everyone to feel comfortable bringing their whole-self to work.
- International Women’s Empowerment Principles
We were one of the first organisations in New Zealand to sign on to the International Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) with the Human Rights Commission, acknowledging the fair treatment of our people.
- Gender Equality
We have been recognised with the White Camelia Award in 2013 and 2017 by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.
We are committed to delivering equal opportunities for our people, which includes promoting equal pay and eliminating gender pay gaps. In 2021, our gender pay gap was 2%. We will continue to develop and expand our efforts to improve gender balance.
