Coca-Cola Europacific Partners New Zealand (CCEP NZ) has recently been recognised for providing exceptional supplier service at the 2022 New Zealand Association of Convenience Stores (NZACS) Convenience Industry awards. This is the third year in a row CCEP NZ has been recognised, which is no small feat after two years of COVID-driven challenges.

The annual awards, recognise and celebrate industry excellence within the convenience sector across 11 categories. For the third time, CCEP NZ has won an impressive line-up of awards across four categories including; Best Delivery Service to Stores, Best Service to Store (Packaged Products), Best Head Office Support – Large Supplier, and the prestigious Supreme Supplier Award.

National Business Manager for Petroleum at CCEP NZ, Stephen Fielder, said the results are testament to the CCEP NZ team’s consistency and ongoing dedication.

“I’m incredibly proud of our team and their dedication to becoming the best in the industry. It is rewarding for our team to be acknowledged for continually striving to grow not only our own business, but also our retail partners’ businesses, as well as being recognized for the value the team are able to add in their individual relationships with retailers”.

“Like everyone in the convenience industry, we have been working in some pretty challenging environments in the trade over the last couple of years, but we continue to find ways to add value to our retail partners,” said Fielder.

The results of the NZACS Awards are informed by Coalface Consulting’s syndicated research project, an independent company which assists with industry-wide benchmarking between retailers and their suppliers.

Coalface Consulting’s research reports on supplier performance across Field, Head Office and total Company levels based on a range of performance attributes.

“Surveys are a really useful benchmark for both retailers and suppliers to see how they are performing within the industry,” said Fielder.

“At CCEP NZ, we are continually trying to improve, and the Coalface surveys help us to do just that. The survey results help us to identify key areas for improvement and set team goals for development and ultimately further improve our service to the industry. Winning in four categories at the NZACS Industry Awards Evening, is incredibly encouraging and shows us that we are taking steps in the right direction.”
