Our People

We’re determined to make a positive difference both in our workplaces and in our local communities.

Ensuring our people’s and our communities’ wellbeing and safety is our priority.

Our success is only possible due to the passion and commitment of the 5,000 talented people who work with us. Our vision is to be an organization where everyone´s welcome to be themselves, be valued and belong - including different thinking, experiences and backgrounds in all that we do.

We are committed to building a diverse workforce and encouraging an inclusive culture. This covers all areas of diversity, including gender, culture and heritage, multi generations and disability.

Our actions on society helps to support UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 and UN Sustainable Development Goal 8.

Our Commitments

  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Health & Safety
  • Wellbeing
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We’ll foster a diverse and inclusive culture in our business and make sure that women hold at least 45% of our management positions, and that a third of a workforce will be women by 2030.

By 2030, 10% of our workforce will be represented by people with disabilities.

We will support the skills development of 500,000 people facing barriers in the labour market by 2030.

We believe that encouraging diversity of ideas, thinking and experience leads to better ways of working and better business results.

Health & Safety

It is important to us that we provide a safe, open, diverse and inclusive workplace where our people are energised by what we can and do achieve together.

At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners PNG, the safety, wellbeing and resilience of our people is a top priority.

Our safety-first culture strives to achieve and maintain a Zero Harm workplace. Our core focus is to create a culture of zero tolerance to harm and injury and we are committed to taking all reasonably practical steps to delivering this for our people with our Zero is possible motto, empowering them to always put their personal safety, and the safety of their teams first.

This includes:

  • Providing an appropriate safety framework, skills and knowledge-based training, information and supervision as is necessary to ensure workers can and do carry out their duties competently and safely.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining business-wide and site-specific health, safety and wellbeing procedures and programs that aim to continually improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Building resilience in our people by proactively identifying and assessing hazards and risks to our people’s health, safety and wellbeing to eliminate or effectively control risks prior to work being performed.
  • Providing opportunities for our people to participate in and contribute to the decision-making process on health, safety and wellbeing matters in the workplace and promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture through consultation, co-operation, and co-ordination.

Taking care of the health, safety and wellbeing and resilience of our people is central to our promise of getting our people home safely to what they love.

Wellbeing

Our CCEP Global Wellbeing vision is based on the overall pillar of 'Keeping Our People Well'. This covers three main components in our organisation which include, Organisation & Culture (The way we work), Managers (Act as role model) and Employees (Supported and accountable).

In 2023, CCEP PNG joined our Global community to have a full calendar of activities supporting our vision of Keeping Our People Well, with different programs under Health, Environment, Employee Assistance Program and Wellbeing.

We embarked on expanding our Wellbeing First Aiders as well as educating our Line Managers on their role in supporting the wellbeing of their team members. We continue to celebrate, highlight and engage more with our employees to show that we are fully committed to support their mental health.
