Building trade skills and development training

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners PNG has embarked on skills development of our workforce through Apprenticeship Training under the PNG National Apprenticeship Trade & Testing Board (NATTB).

Our aim is to equip our workforce with the right skills and knowledge so they're productive and capable of meeting industrial expectations, as well as to participate actively in the economic and social development of Papua New Guinea. 

We offer Apprenticeship Training in the following Trade categories:

  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Auto Electrical (Electrical Trade).
  • Maintenance and Fitting & Machining.
Kayak Wanpis Apprentice

In our inaugural cohort, Kayak Kume and Wanpis Kone have fulfilled all the training requirements laid out by NATTB, including CCEP PNG. They have recently concluded their final block of training at Port Moresby Technical College and successfully completed the comprehensive Trade Test organized by NATTB. This intensive week-long evaluation encompassed both theoretical and practical assessments, and they accomplished all the necessary components on September 15th, 2023.

We're so proud to have had seven of our apprentices; Charles Nokae, Manaseh Samson, Solomon Gawi, Easterlyn Hinei, Keleb Billi, Alexander Wesley Riyak, Philemon Kanamai, officially sign their contracts with the National Trade & Testing Board (NATTB) in Port Moresby. The contract signing was witnessed by the Assistant Director for NATTB, Mr. Tommy Manu

CCEP Papua New Guinea's first cohorts of our Apprentice Training Program successfully completed preliminary trainings on 29th March 2021.

The training program in partnership with the National Apprenticeship and Trade Testing Board (NATTB) runs for a duration of 4 years. An apprentice is required to undergo block courses and on-the job training aligned to the training structure of NATTB.

Congratulations to the following cohorts for a great effort thus far and we wish them the very best for the next 4 years.
