CCEP PNG couldn't have been prouder to have flown the iconic Red and White Coca-Cola flag in the skies over Lae town during the weekend of the Diamond Jubilee of the 60th Morobe Show. This year's spectacles had a different feel, radiating more warmth than in previous years, as it symbolized our longstanding support of 30 consecutive years as the Grand Champion Sponsor of the show.
From its humble origins as an agricultural exhibition, we have not only witnessed the Morobe Show's growth and evolution but also actively contributed to its transformation into a sensational annual weekend-long celebration. This extravaganza now encompasses a wide array of activities, including captivating cultural performances, marvelous horticulture displays, exciting livestock judging, bustling commercial exhibits, breathtaking skydiving, and thrilling motorbike daredevilry. To further enhance our sponsorship, we expanded our branding across prime locations throughout the grounds, including the distinguished VIP area and premium grandstand seating.
One of the highlights was our Coca-Cola Amusement Park, where attendees could partake in various games and entertainment options. Visitors had the opportunity to play and win limited edition Coca-Cola merchandise, enjoy live-outside broadcasting (OB) by PNG FM with the winners of our 'Refresh & Win' promotion, and participate in Fanta Clown Haus games to win instant Coke prizes. Additionally, the Fanta Ticket Booth provided the chance to experience exhilarating rides on the Ferris Wheel, Merry-Go-Round, or Bouncy Castle.
In the Coke Family Arena, audiences were treated to sensational entertainment by Kronos and Shei from Coke Studio, captivating snake performances, engaging games like Snakes and Ladders, and a delightful photo booth for show-goers to capture lasting memories.
This year, we took a step further by introducing the Coke Information Hub, aimed at raising awareness about key programs, initiatives, and the quality of our products. Our dedicated staff volunteered to provide valuable insights into our PET Collection Program, the manufacturing standards of our beloved products, and the exciting career opportunities for young talents seeking to be part of our graduate, internship and apprenticeship programs. The response was heartening, and we were pleased to witness the engagement of those who stopped by to gain deeper insights into our business.
As always, the Coke Fun Haus provided consumers with an opportunity to play and win Coca-Cola limited-edition merchandise, adding an extra element of excitement to the show.
Lastly, our Coke Mini Depot extended enticing deals and bundles to stall operators, while also gifting them free eskies to enhance their experience of the show.
