As part of our journey towards RE100, we've installed a rooftop solar system at our Darwin site

One of our headline climate commitments in our global This Is Forward sustainability action plan is to use 100% renewable electricity (RE100) across all markets by 2030.

Here in Australia, we're excited to share that we've made another step towards this goal with the installation of 641 rooftop solar panels at our site located in Darwin (NT); a project that was completed this January.

The panels are connected by more than 8,000 metres of wire and will generate 420 megawatt-hours of power per annum, accounting for 74 per cent of the site's electricity needs with payback expected in four years.

The site in Darwin joins facilities in Eastern Creek (NSW), Kewdale (WA) and Richlands (QLD) that already have rooftop solar, with further solar projects in the works.

We are also supporting our efforts to achieve 100% renewable electricity through a long-term agreement with Alinta Energy. This arrangement commenced on 1 January 2023, giving us access to 13,000 MWh a year of renewable electricity supplied from the Yandin Wind Farm, located 175km north of Perth.

It's a landmark, eight-year agreement that will significantly bolster our commitment to tackling climate change
