Celebrating Fatherhood: Strength, Love & Sacrifice

CCEP PNG hosted a heartfelt Father’s Day celebration on September 6, 2024, with the theme “Celebrating Fatherhood: Strength, Love, and Sacrifice.” The event, held across all centres in Papua New Guinea, began with an opening prayer by Naptalai Koi and welcome remarks by Taipeng Angi, Head of Logistics. The celebration featured a storytelling session where fathers shared personal anecdotes of their journeys, highlighting their strength, love, and sacrifices. Notable stories included Glenn Perez’s account of overcoming challenges as a young father and Jeremiah Kanawi’s reflection on the profound impact of knowing God.

The storytelling session fostered deep connections among attendees, emphasising both struggles and triumphs of fatherhood. The event concluded with closing remarks from the lead committees, celebrating the enduring impact and legacy of fathers. A group photo session captured the unity and collective joy of the day. Overall, the celebration was a touching tribute to fathers, underscoring their invaluable role in families and the community.
