At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) our purpose is to deliver sustainable growth, create value for all our stakeholders and build a better future for our business, our communities and the planet.
CCEP Ventures – our innovation investment programme – was launched in 2019 to help achieve our purpose by finding and implementing transformative ways of doing business.
Our Mission
We are bringing the best minds, ideas and technologies from the outside world into CCEP in order to solve business and industry problems – and, importantly, prepare for the future.
We work with external innovators and partner with them through investment, academic funding, commercial relationships and mentorship – offering a mutually beneficial growth platform that delivers real long-term value.
Our four areas of focus that are fundamental to our business
StarStock
StarStock supports the UK on-trade by providing e-commerce solutions that enable licensed venues to digitise their relationship with their suppliers. We have been able to support them on the early stages of their journey including through valuable market insights, a commercial partnership with our GB team or access to the expertise of our own e-commerce teams.
TabSquare
TabSquare provides AI-driven ordering platforms for restaurants that help to drive higher order sizes and faster order turnover. There has been 288% growth in merchants live on the platform over the last 12 months with 30% faster table turnaround for venues. We’re now supporting them to grow into new markets.
Innovative Tap Solutions
Innovative Tap Solutions is a self-pour, self-pay technology that offers consumers a convenient packaging-free delivery method for their drinks. ITS is already established in the U.S but we took a 25% stake in 2020 and we’re helping them expand into Europe – starting with a pilot in Spain with some of our key hospitality customers.
CuRe
CuRe is developing ‘polyester rejuvenation’ technology that provides a new lease of life for hard-to-recycle plastic polyester waste. For early-stage technology like this, we’re supporting with capital funding to build the infrastructure needed to develop the new technology. We’ve helped in the set-up of a repolymerisation line at a pilot plant in the Netherlands and, long-term, we want to grow a stock of recyclable plastic that we can put into the market and reduce reliance on single use plastic.
Expanding our portfolio and reach
Following the acquisition of Coca-Cola Amatil in May, our project portfolio has expanded even further, now totaling 16 partners across the globe. We have some really exciting projects – visit our webpage for more information on all of our partners.
