Meet Andrew Lacey from Texas River House, Chirnside Park, Victoria

When Texas River House opened their doors in March 2020, they could not have envisaged what challenges they would be faced with then and over the last two years.  The team managed to pivot and adapt – with initial trading via UberEats - to keep their business going and thriving.

Texas River House serves mouth-watering slow-cooked meats, and steaks, as well as seafood within an open and relaxed ‘boot scootin’ kind of vibe. With country music playing, this venue is all about capturing the American deep south in atmosphere and taste.

It hasn’t been an easy two years according to owner Andrew Lacey. “We haven’t reached seven consecutive weeks of being open due to severe lockdowns in Victoria. However, we’re hoping this is now in the past and we can soon introduce our membership and loyalty scheme that has been on the backburner.”

“We can’t wait to see full capacity in our weatherproof beer garden with live country music vibe pairing perfectly with cold beer and delicious slow-cooked meat and seafood – the perfect location to enjoy chilled get-togethers and create memories.”

Andrew commended the work of our people at CCEP Australia in supporting the preopening right through to today; helping him and his team continue to operate and serve great-tasting food and beverages.
